I applied for 395TACO on a Yosemite plate. I gotta believe it's taken. The DMV used to have a look-up tool for plates, but no longer...

I think most people think that way because they are on a site called Tacoma World and see nothing but tacomas where everybody is getting pro grilles. When in reality, I've only seen a couple of non-pro tacomas around town with pro grilles, and I live in a large city...

I picked me up a center console organizer tray, received a GoPro Hero 5 Black from my wife for our 8 year anniversary and I got the ECU updated for the transmission. It's been a great weekend. :)

Lol at least they aren’t pros is all I say. How did you adjust them? Add in a spacer a bottom of the mounting bracket?

Washed and waxed the Taco this morning. Also removed the SR5 badges (thanks for the advise, guys!) Thinking about dipping the Tacoma badges in red to match the tailgate.

Very well put! The younger generation has no idea what they missed out on. Definitely hope, in this case, history repeats itself. Life was a lot simpler then. No dependence on a smartphone, these poor kids nowadays wouldn’t know what to do without a device in their hand 24/7! Maybe one day when a couple of those satellites whirling around up there collide and they have to do without service for a while they’ll actually have to think for themselves! But it’ll probably cause widespread panic, traumatization, and loss of appetite......but wait, here comes Elon Musk to the rescue lol! Too bad everyone is so wrapped up in technology nowadays, particularly the little ones. Just makes my skin crawl seeing a 6 year with a smartphone! They should be outdoors playing with their real friends, not online friends! Anyhow, gotta get going before I really get going lol! Gonna go visit the redwoods in a bit(where there’s no cell phone service...scary). I’ll post pics later. Like you said, let’s hope history repeats itself! :fingerscrossed:

Agreed. I wish Diamondback would develop a broader line of their own accessories. They have a few, but not nearly enough.

Not completely. It’s also the folks paragliding off the sand dunes there! Everyone has to slow down and take a picture. Maybe they’ll ban it there, thought they shouldn’t be out there trampling the vegetation anyway with the signs posted that requires people to stay on the man made path(s). It would just be nice to have more than a two hour window to drive the posted speed limit when I’m not stuck at work. Other than the traffic and tourist, this is a beautiful place to call home!

The "L" brackets are made so you can angle the light up or down. I think I put between 5 and 8 degrees of angle on them. You need to take them out to do it.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Huh. Listening to the stories my father (long passed) had of growing up during the 1930s in a tiny Louisiana mill town, one might get the idea the Great Depression wasn't so Great. Back in the good ole days, apparently, hunger wasn't just wanting a nosh while watching tv in the evening. If one needed physical evidence of what those days might have been like, one only need look down at the guy's gnarled feet that came from wearing shoes that were WAY too small because his family couldn't afford to buy him new ones as he grew.

The good ole days, when we were kids, were good BECAUSE WE WERE KIDS. Kids don't worry about a lot of stuff. Sure, I had a lot of fun when I was young, but that doesn't mean my parents weren't dealing with serious concerns. We (people of my age) are able to reminisce about our youth because we didn't, say, die of Polio. Just sayin'.

    Meh. Back to topic...

Agree. Technology is only good to a point. Hate seeing people eating out and everyone at the table using a device and not having any type of conversation. Was recently at a Japanese steak house with 6 adults and 5 children at a table and no one was talking. All the kids were on a device. They came out to sing happy birthday to one of the children and he was too busy to even look up at the people singing to him. Unacceptable. We recently spent a week of vacation on a lake and it was good to see children playing, laughing and enjoying the great outdoors. . They were on canoes, kayaks, swimming, playing volleyball, fishing and actually having a great time. Reminded me of my childhood. Nobody was attached to a device. Very refreshing.
