Sorry about that Shaun, its just going to depend on whether I get my tube bender well enough ahead of time, and the overall cost of materials. If you want to come over and help build them, then that would make it quicker/cheaper for you too.
Actually, one of my roommate has offered his assistance, as well as Strom on here(he already helped with the logo). If neither of those work for me, then i'll let you know mike. Thanks for the help. :)

Yeah, all bumpers come with winch mount and 2 shackle/recovery points standard. I'll look into shipping as soon as I can for you, thanks.

I would be interested in how the Hybrid bumper is going to turn out. How much weight do you think you could save building the hybrid? Weight of the bumper is one of the things I am considering when purchasing a new front bumper.

Its all good. I would much rather have one built by you than buying it from somewhere else, just hope to have one before the trip to prevent damage.
I would love to help build, just don't quite know what im doing as much as you. And this is something i want done right the first time. lol

Looks Awesome! Not sure if you mentioned this or not but does the bumper mount anywhere other than the factory front bumper studs??

Not sure as I havent looked into building one. I'll have to get materials estimates to estimate the weight, then build and determine a final weight.
Thanks Wes. I've talked about mounting a bit, but essentially it bolts to the 3 forward facing studs on each side of the front of the frame, and with one grade-8 bolt on each end of the lower cross member below those 3 studs. There will also be a bracket that slips over the 2 outside front studs on each side, and then wraps back around the body mount bracket and then to an existing hole in the frame to be secured through the frame with another grade-8 bolt.
Hope that helps, and makes sense.

    Evening bump and update.....

I will be starting a sign-up list for the first batch of 2nd gen Tacoma plate bumpers as soon as tcBob lists me as an official site vendor, hopefully tomorrow. I will post a link to the thread in here as soon as it is up, if you want to get in on the special introductory pricing for these bumpers then act quickly! I'm only offering this special rate for the first 10 orders! There will be a deposit due to secure your spot on the list, then the remaining amount+shipping when the bumper is complete. All payments through paypal for the time being. Thanks to everyone that has shown interest in my products.:)

Could you make something similar to the waag rear bumper guard, but follows the lines of the truck better? I don't know if you could design it on CAD or not.

I am liking the bumper a lot.
Where is the list I need to get on for the plate bumper?
Are the high lift jack points extra?
Looks like you may have a nice operation starting up here.
Best of luck as it takes off.

I can definitely try to whip something up. I dont want to copy them to keep away from legal issues, but I can try and make something somewhat similar.
I am still waiting on tcBob to list me as a vendor, as soon as my own subforum is up, I will post the thread in there with the list. The high-lift points will be standard, I actually forgot to draw them on the first set of plans to the CNC guy, I'm having them added in for all the future bumpers. Thanks.
    Thanks. :)

my roommate and fab partner Timicha just whipped up a new plate bumper for the 1st gens. It looks like we will probably be keeping an agreement that he gets the 1st gen bumpers, and I get the 2nd gen stuff so I probably wont have a readily available bumper for them, maybe just a custom one here or there if anything.
