Seems like most of the sellers on eBay etc are charging an arm and a leg. I'd rather keep mine original if I change back. Where are you all finding black out emblems?

I painted mine with that Krylon stuff. After some trails the paint is starting to chip, but it looked good for a while. Plastidip might work better, I'm not sure. But its easy, just use a hair drier and fishing line to cut the badges off, clean off all the sticky shit with wd-40 or goo gone. Paint the emblems. Use 3m double sided tape to attatch them to your truck again. What takes the longest is cutting little pieces of tape to fit the shape of the badges, but it's worth it, I hate chrome on my truck lol.

Thought about that but spending hours cutting double stick tape and resticking sounds like a pain in the ass.

Don’t need to with plasti-dip. Just tape off area around badges and spray badges and paint. Then peel excess off around the badges and it sticks to the letters. 1 can costs about 7 or 8 bucks, enough for all badges.
