Hey everyone. I'm trying to build sort of a Frankenstein kit. I like the height gained from the dakars and either the Kings 2.5 coilover or Icon 2.5 coilover. Which of the two would I be able to crank up to achieve 39" of fender to ground measurement without completely trashing the ride? I have a certain look (3rd pic attached; photo credit is Andrew Le) I'm going for and having a hard time finding a kit thats in budget and can achieve this. TIA.

EDIT: I'll be running a 285/70r17 if that helps with the 39" fender to ground part.

Kings and Icon are not for anyone on a budget.

Everyone has a budget whether it's $100 or $3,000 so not sure that statement is accurate. I said "in budget."

It might help if we knew what your budget was. ;)

I can't speak to your specific requirements, but I'm really happy with my all-around King setup. My wife's 2016 4Runner has ICON Stage 2 stuff installed and the balls in the UCAs squeak like a bitch, no matter how they're lubricated.

EDIT: saw you have SPC which is what I was going to get as well.

Sounds like a solid kit. Here's my truck:

I had the preload eased off a little since that pic was taken. The shop initially had it set far too hard. It's pretty much perfect now, and ground to top of fender opening is 39 1/8" in the front. I'm running 285/70/17s on those Fuel wheels. Here's how it looks now, along with a shot of my preload:

Thanks bro. Pics don't do these lifts justice. The look I'm going for was 39" up front and I think 40" rear which doesn't look like much until parked next to a stock one.

Do the spc uca's have more travel than stock? Can they use all the potential of an extended travel coilover?

I have Icon on my Tacoma and BP51 on my 200, and I much prefer the Icon. The adjustability with the knob is great too.
