Got my Bilstein/OME 3"/2" kit on. Went with the 5100's and the 887's. Think i might need to go up to the 3rd notch since its still a little lower in the front and ill be adding a SSO bumper and winch soon.

I removed the K&N Blackhawk CAI and installed a TRD Pro CAI. The Blackhawk will be posted in the For Sale thread.

Removed the front air dam - can’t believe it took me this long to do it. Really changes the look of the truck. Without the air dam it appears to sit higher and it shows off the aggressive tread of the tires (Falken AT3Ws). I’ve been thinking of doing a 1 inch lift but this may convince me to hold off for a little while haha.

Say what you want but I love the Pro grille on my truck. Best $140 grille on the market ($99 now). SO-O-O-O-O-O much better than the stock Sport grille. But, to be honest, ANYTHING is better than the stock 16 or 17 Sport stock grille. Of course that is just my opinion.

Dash cam install...after some dickbag sideswiped my Tundra last year on the freeway at 70MPH and then ran like a bitch, I will never drive without one again.

I'm not sure what generation I'm in as I'm roughly 40 but my 8yo Son doesn't own anything with a screen. We technically own a TV but it's not plugged in. I'm a bit of a hard-ass as I was an Infantry squad leader in the Marine Corps and couldn't care less if his feelings are hurt. We spend almost all our spare time outdoors and I've finally decided to give up skateboarding because I ate it a month ago and fractured my wrist and a couple of bones in my hand. That's fine though... We do lots of other fun stuff together.

Everyone remembers the past with rose colored glasses. Your own story was better than reality, the good times were better, the bad times weren't as bad. Even my own military service is remembered that way. The good times with my buddies were better, the scary stuff wasn't nearly as bad, and the fact that I was almost always deployed somewhere is now sorta cool and not nearly as annoying and disruptive as it was when it was happening.

The nice thing is we all share this wonderful ethos that is America and we all appreciate going out and exploring it, and in my case, I share it with my Son so he will carry that on. Hopefully we can all continue that legacy and 30-ish years from now there's beautiful spaces where he can go too.

Went out to Old Coast Road again today. Bixby Bridge in the background. Gotta love the redwoods! Sur lighthouse in the background. If you zoom in you can see it. Bixby Bridge! Tacoma World!

Ive seen a lot of people use these Pelican 1750 cases on roof racks, bed racks, etc. they are on sale at academy right now. Looks like the new line of pelican cases came out. These old ones have a deep discount. Figured I’d share. This may be nationwide or just at my nearest store.

I will simplify this as best I can. On the bracket that is closest to the grille there is only one hole for the bolt. You can angle that bracket so that when you tighten that screw the bracket has an angle-not parallel to the lens. The top of the bracket will be closer to the lens than the bottom of the bracket. If it is parallel to the lens then it is aimed straight ahead which is what to avoid. This is the bracket that slides into the grooves in your plastic bumper. It is easier to remove both lights, set them on a bench and set them both at the same angle. You can use a satellite inclinometer or something similar to set the angle. Tighten but don't overtighten. Do not strip threads in aluminum base.
