    Yes, I agree. I am asking the dealer to remove it and give me a stock bumper.....if I buy it that is. I've got them down to $16500 on this 2009 4x4...... Is this a good deal?

    My neighbor is a welder and owns his own business. Looks like the type of bumpers he makes for his Z71... He will keep them on about 2 months and then will make a new one.. They always looks well made, but just not eye candy IMO, thus the reason I will be ordering one if/when I decided to upgrade.

    Yeah, I have aleady located a white Taco bumper to replace this "fugly" thing.

    Does anyone know if these ugly bumpers are just bolt on? I am hoping it will be easy enough to transform the Taco back to stock.

    My other hurdle is the "floor mat" recall. Does anyone know about a fix for the recall? Until I have it fixed, I can't even bring this truck home (to Canada). The RIV (Registrar of Imported Vehicles) is blocking all Toyotas under this current recall from being Licenced/Registered in Canada until the recall is fixed.
