    Our exterior unit’s exhaust fan doesn’t seem to be turning on. Thininking its the capacitor, from what the internet is saying.

    Looks like I can get a capacitor for about $30, and replace it myself.

    That’s the plan for tomorrow, and we’ll go from there.

    Yea, when I try to let my dog outside and he just stares at me like "you go outside asshole" it is too damn hot.

    I have my AC set on 78 for when I am home, 76 for when I sleep and 80 when I am away and it is not bad... still cannot wait for my electric bill.

    I thought the same, but between the ceiling fan and two other fans in the room, actually got cold at one point last night.

    Luckily the bedroom is on the east side of the house so it cools off at night and doesn't start getting warm from the sun until after I leave for work.

    Im the same way. Our poor little apartment cant keep up with the heat. We have it set at 68 yet it'll climb to the high 70s. July and August are just miserable here. Lived in DFW for 28 years and yet have I gotten use to the heat.
