What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Running light mod (added pigtails from a Tundra has 3 wires instead of just 2 going to the bulbs..sorry no pics on that) This is NOT the Daytime Running Light mod my truck doesn't have DRL's.

Also added extra bed tie downs.

Rexing V1P so far so good. I'll probably pull the card tomorrow and check out the footage after work. I got it for $88 instead of $130, also did the hard wire kit to fuse box.

Has internal battery so when vehicle is bumped while off it starts recording.

Thanks, but I already have the OEM switch, and the clutch pedal sensor is already installed, it's a Rostra kit anyway, so I probably already have the same one. I just need the cable that goes from the switch to the clockspring. I found the brain for the wireless one zip-tied under the steering column, I think if I'm careful, I can uninstall it without too much trouble. Then a proper trim cover is only like $4 from the dealer last time I checked.
I pulled the wiring harness and radio controls from the Camry, too, but they are tan, and I didn't realize I needed a different clockspring for it. I guess I should go back and pull that one, because I would like some properly colored radio controls eventually.

 

Looks good! I just know that compressor is heavy without a leg. I fabbed a panel for the pax side to hold the compressor. Used a premade driver tray for my switchpros instead.

Definitely sad but management does include winnowing excess populations so that we can coexist. Just don't wipe them out to save every single calf.

 

Parked it closer to the garage to make room for the new daily. Finally!!!

 

ATH front bumper installed this weekend.

 

Pulled the dash panels to cut out the 4xswitch+ sockets and replaced them with this.

Pardon the tape, i need to add some abs glue buttons to the top/bottom for it to snap into place. As of now only the usb/aux and 12V socket is functional and even the 12V gets an always hot mod. The camera kit is ready to install and the harness for this is mostly complete. Fit is as good as I'd hoped. This pic is from before I rounded the bottom corners.

 

Hey sorry if I'm not doing this right this is my first post on here after a few days of just reading. I'm one click away from ordering XD301 but wanted to ask about lug nuts. Do you have any you could recommend that work well with yours? Ordering from 4WP. Thank you

 

Installed new dash cam, Rexing V1LG. Still need to run the wires and install the rear cam. Also need to do the hardwire install but waiting on a switch so I can power it with the truck on or off.




Short video with factory settings. May need to adjust the EV level at night when driving outside of the city. Overall I'm satisfied with what I've seen so far. I'll need to order another of the 3m tape mounts because when I pressed the mount to the windshield a unknown about crack from the top of the windshield appeared to the left of the cam and can be seen at the end of the video when I park (vertical line). So I guess a new windshield is in order soon. lol
