    I have a mini d2s retrofit already, but really am liking the style of these headlights. My lenses on my current headlights are yellowed, and wondering if I should just order these instead of cleaning them.

    Would you do it? Thanks!

    If you dig back in this thread, someone did it too, and at least in the beginning he didn’t report any issues. A few years down the road though, who knows.

    Yep, happy with the lights needs a little adjusting but its sweet.HIDs is the way to go IMO.

    These look a lot less bright than my Mini D2S setup, but it’s probably just because it’s a photo and not in person. J’m waiting for Tacoma Beast to do one of those specials so I can buy a set!

    I haven't bothered to take light output pics because it is impossible to take a pic that looks realistic. A camera aperture will close faster or stay open later in order to let a certain amount of light through.
    Honestly they probably are not as much light as the retros you have built. You probably paid more for just the projectors then these lights cost....

    Yes for 05-11 model year, separate high and low beam bulbs. 12-15 has just one bulb for both high and low. Seems to be a little better than OEM as far as light output. Definitely a better cut off. For 05-11 design, there was a $100 off promo code "EXCLUSIVE". Not sure if it still works or not.
