I'd rather live in the heat than deal with that! Though buying a house up north for summer time is sounding better and better.

Same, especially when my AC was pretty much running all day, can't wait for my electric bill.

Be careful. Those houses come with mosquitoes that look like grackles. You spend all winter wishing you were outside, and all summer, (well, 2.5 months...), asking yourself why you are trying to be outside.

Yep, this time of the year really makes me want to get a Nest thermostat... I have a programmable one already, but I want more options lol.

I installed an Insteon smart thermostat earlier this year and it is really nice to be able to crank it down before you get home. Or if you're going to get home later you don't have to worry about wasting energy.

BTW, nice finally seeing the Chad-mobile is person. I was starting to think of your truck as the Yeti of Austin, something the locals report as being real, but no one else can actually confirm its existence. :D

Definitely a nice looking machine. Good work.

Yea, I have a Honeywell one that is a non smart one that I just program each day and what times I want what temps to be at so it is pretty easy to program for what shifts I work, I just have to remember to do it. I just have not been able to justify dropping the money on a Nest or something like that yet.

I bought my Insteon on Amazon for $75. You need a Hub but I already have most of my house on the system from testing the products for work. Has bad reviews but works great for me.
