I've replied to a few threads every so often that I had issues with the factory entune head unit. Mainly the fact that it soft resets two times consecutive while I make or receive a call, ultimately dropping either or.

After two visits for routine maintenance, the dealership was finally able to duplicate the problem and they are replacing the entire unit.

Just wanted to share. I actually enjoy all the features of my entune although it seems to be less favorable to most.

If you are experiencing these issues and can duplicate it at the dealership, you may be able to get a new head unit.

    Happy Monday folks!

Yup! Always kept it up to date. Dealership saw the the version number and figured they couldn't fix it any further.

Thanks, dealerships never been a terrible place but it's definitely been alot more competitive lately with how nice some of the other dealerships are. They never used to pay for rental cars and they set me up with one on their dime. :)

I've dealt with this since I've bought my truck. Replaced the head unit twice and updated firmware every time and it's still an issue. They tried every possible thing to try and fix it like deleting my IPhone emoji's on my contacts or not using my apple watch while I'm driving and it still kept resetting every time I get a bluetooth call. I took it back last week and they said Panasonic (the company that makes the headunit) told the service director there's no fix for this. So I hired an attorney and we'll see where we go from here.

Keep me posted, if I need to be added to a list after this I'll throw my name in the hat.

EDIT: I wonder if it would be consider lemon knowing a major feature of the vehicle is not functioning under warranty.

I hired a lemon attorney and it's in the process.
