Skids are skids. I would take beat to hell skids over no skids any day.

Yeah be careful popping a radiator cap even on a vehicle without a blown headgasket. An airpocket stuck in the system can cause the erruption as well it's scary. Seen a young kid fresh out of school get burned pretty severely from popping the radiator cap.

Yea, I was pretty reckless back then even though I knew the risk. Could have waited for it to cool down, but I think I was on my way to a girls house.

Went to an exhaust shop nearby and was quoted $300 for a reroute. And that didn’t include any joints or anything. Just a bent pipe and a Y.

At a second place now and holy moly is it sketchy. Let’s hope I make it out of here.

Update: Sketchy place is awesome and charging me $120 for it and said it’ll only take 45 min.

Thats the way to go. Sketchy places work out sometimes. Until the muffler hangs too low and the exhaust bounces off the frame over every bump... :bananadead:

Heh, I have this terrible feeling that the exhaust will somehow still be too low and the skid won’t fix. That would suck.

Hey guys, wanted to give you an update on the mirrors while keeping the other thread clutter free.

    Fit: 10/10
Finish: 9/10 - only because it’s not exactly oem textured finish, but very close
Function:6/10 - the glass itself rattles around a bit at highway speeds. It’s definitely still useable, but it’s noticeable. Because of this, I’m not going to install my passenger side mirror and instead leave the OEM one.

Overall for the price it’s worth it. I would still do it again vs paying for OEM.

Exhaust dump to the max! I’ll just route it out the side.

Just flip the headers 180° and put one of those tractor flaps on top.

Get it adjusted to where you want it and then wedge a little pieces of some kind of foam on both sides, like pipe insulation foam. I did that once on a car. Worked fine.
