Yea, I really really enjoys drinking. I like everything about it but the calories. I once quit for 2 years on a bet. I won. When the bet was over, we went to Mexico. I should have eased back into it. First day, overdid it. Couldn't drink for the next two days. LOL

That was a long long time ago. I'm much more tolerant now. I do enjoy it though.

I say the same thing about these light bar installs. I only need to get the wiring done on the 32" and then mount and wire the 42". I just need two good days with no other chores and decent weather.

This weekend some parts of Maryland got 7" of rain in one day. We got about 5" over the entire weekend up at the house. Aggravates me to no end!

Well what do you do with the truck? Are you going to be carrying a ton of weight i.e RTT/Campershell, bumper, etc. if so I'd get a custom leaf pack as they will end of sagging in a few years. But if you don't use it like that then dakars are fine and just add the AAL to it a year or so later.

I have Dakars for about 2 years or so now (1st gens are different but same concept) I'm no longer level with the front, rear is lower by an inch or two. I have a RTT or campershell constantly on but I'm going to eventually add a rear bumper and swingout so it'll be worse. I have the AAL for it but waiting to install until bumper goes on. I'll be swapping to custom built leaf pack within the next 2-3 years more likely. Just my $0.02

I try and do that. Let's me consume more on the weekend. But sometimes I go out with females and we have a drink or two. Also proves I'm not an alcoholic

I'd say that proves it. If you couldn't go a few days well that's different

Maybe you can find an OEM take-off from a 3rd Gen to fit for that or less. $500 will put you in the folding category but not much more than the soft type. Didn't there used to be a member on here that worked fro a dealership that would get us parts cheaper? I think the factory ones are nice, and they lock.

A lot of guys like and endorse this brand you posted. For the money, if a soft top is what you want look at this one.

    https://www.amazon.com/American-Ton...64274&sr=1-5&keywords=American+Tonneau+Tacoma

My buddy in New Mexico has this on his Tundra and swears by it. All he did was add a rubber gasket seal to the tailgate to keep dust outta the bed.
