How to remove dealers signature off tailgate

Ok. I HATE having the back on my truck marked with the dealer info.
What is the best way to take that $hit off my tail gate without screwing the paint up.

Fingernails, or Lentsnh, he took mine off. But really all you need a knife to scape it off or like I said a fingernail, it's just a sticker

 

leave your truck in the sun for a little bit to soften up the sticky tape then get some fishing line and use it like floss to cut between the dealer emblem and the truck.

if its a sticker get a hair dryer and heat it up at little then peel it off, be carefull and dont overheat your paint. goo gone works good to remove any left over sticky junk

 

For me i just used a pressure washer with hot water took like 30 seconds.

Easiest way without damaging paint is to heat it up with a hair dryer first, and pull it off. Just dig your fingernail under a corner of the sticker and start peeling it off.
If it is more of a "badge" type dealer sticker, you may want to use fishing line and saw behind it.

 

I take off other peoples stickers off with a wire brush, (not mine) they're always surprised by how I do it.

 

If its just the sticker kind- peel off (may have to heat with hair dryer if its been on there a while) and use goo-gone or rubbing alcohol to remove adhesive. If its the chrome, raised stick one type (like the Tacoma emblems)- use fishing line to cut through the adhesive, remove and use the products above to remove the left over adhesive. This is what I've done in the past, just take your time and wax after removing adhesive residue.
