My understanding is CC hasn't been cleaned up as much vs not using CC. I've noticed this too and I use CC alot due to my job and travel. 1.05 is to improve on this i believe.

Not trying to be a dick but did you read any of the instructions? Once you get passed any laptop security issues, it's pretty easy and well explained.

Yeah, I realized the math on that a few minutes after I posted
Probably more along the lines of a 10 or 11 hour drive

    Yea about 50 times
    I’ve tried everything I could
Deleting th drivers and pcm flash manager after I uninstalled mcefee
    And reinstalling them once again
I know it shouldn’t be this hard.

Good catch, cause you are correct...I was still thinking of Norton (which I use) when I meant to put McAfee there. :p

i have a dongled kit so normally it would see the dongle if plugged in. then select the tactrix cable from the interface. maybe someone can chime in on the dongle'ess setup in regards to what it's supposed to show there.

This is what I have too
I get as far as being able to open flash manager without the dongle plugged in
When I plug it in and restart the program it says “key is not supported, contact support to resolve issue”

then it sounds like the drivers for the dongle are not installed possibly. it's been awhile since i looked but in the flash manager software (separate from pcmflash) you can download the drivers for the dongle and install them. Then the dongle needs to be registered. You should have received an email from OVTune with that information.

Well considering I'm in the Air Force and an IT guy, I install and manage this stuff on a daily basis...

well then the dongle and drivers had to have worked previously. odd it's acting like it's not detecting the dongle now. i'd try a fresh reboot and make sure again all virus software has it's real time monitoring disabled. then plug in the dongle and run pcm flash and see if it sees the dongle. if not, open a ticket to ovtune.

    Hmm
    My computer has 2 ports
Each time I plug the USB in the computer recognizes that it’s plugged in
I think I must have tried both
    I’ll try again now

My dongle works on any USB how ever the Tactrix cable only works on USB3 ports
