Thinking of putting an order in for some wheelers parts.

Wheelers 3 leaf progressive AAL (definite)
    Front superbumps bumpstops
    Rear superbumps bumpstops

Sitting at stock height I have already hit the bumpstop a couple times...you think these would be a beneficial add on? Or would it be a waste if I am only going to be at 2 inch lift front and rear?

I think you should be good with the lift without the bumpstops to begin with.

@foxrcing07 would know better than I would though.

    @roguegs and @Pella

You are MORE than welcome to bring your trucks to my place. I think it's somewhat centralized for people to come help.

I have clear garage and pretty much what ever we need to install a lift.

Do you find the stock bumpstops rough? I hit mine all the time it just made it less jarring when I got the superbumps. Also I have rear superbumps up for grabs and an ICON add a leaf.

you'll be fine with stock bumps for now but I would upgrade down the road because the stock ones suck

@roguegs it will probably be the weekend after you get back from Canada. I’ll be in NY durring the same time. They are extended travel in the rears and the kit comes with brake lines.

I might have to take you up on that. It sounds like a good plan.

With my bed drawer, RTT, mtb bikes, and gear my 2018 sags a little. Someday maybe I’ll change out the suspension but I’m thinking about Ride Rite bags and the Daystar cradles for them. I think altogether it’s like $400 to keep the stock height and off road flex. The truck is my DD and I’m worried about AAL making the rear ride too stiff when unloaded. What do you guys think?

Single. They rode nice, just couldn’t handle the weight I carry. I used to remove the tent when I had them installed so I didn’t wear them down too bad. They seemed like they rode the same and had the same lift when I took them off. I did have the stock overload removed and that definitely would have helped with carrying weight but I just bought a full leaf pack cause it was easier then reassembling my leaf pack again and finding out I still needed a heavier duty leaf pack. Free ninety nine to any of the 209ers
    Edit: 3 leaf, I’m special

Well...fucc it then. Maybe I should just try out that single leaf first. If I don't end up liking it then I will purchase the 3 leaf progressive. I think that'll make the most sense...

I just hear that the single leaf might make the ride harsh but I can never trust what some of these people say on here lol. How much lift did it give? 1.5?

Yeah, I think it was right at 1.5”. That’s why I didn’t keep the overload in there because I was afraid the ride would suffer.

I ran a single leaf AAL on mine for a year. For about 5 months pretty much empty bed and the last 6 or so months with my rack, boxes and tools (probably 250#)... couldn't tell much difference, and they didn't sag much with the added weight... and my main leafs are a LOT older and worn out than yours (270,000 miles)
