Took mine in for the 5k exam and drove out with the squeak. Soooo frustrating!

Bought the 9.4101G kit and installed today. No more noise! (from the bushings...the STT Pro's are still noisy)

    Thanks, OP!

Use a pair of vise-grips on the bolt while loosening. Ratcheting wrenches are priceless!

I was able to use the factory jack ontop of a 4x4 and put a wood spacer to help distribute the force. Probably lifted about an inch.

Installed! My bigger bushing did have the metal sleeve; it can be removed and then inserted again from the bottom. Don't forget the stock washer!

    My bushing orientation:

    BODY
    Big washer
Big puck (nipple down, with both sleeves)
    FRAME
    Small puck
    Small washer
    Stock washer
    Stock nut (torqued to 35ft/lbs)

No more creaking and the body lift is noticeable!

Little late to the party but yes to your last question. In the past, I took my 17 SR5 DCSB to the dealer for my 15k service. Asked the service rep to check my passenger side front end for a clunking noise when going over bumps. Truck steered normal with no vibrations. The tech acknowledged and documented hearing a noise, but could not 'pinpoint' where it was coming from. Yesterday was my 20k service. Again I asked for the noise to be checked. After over two hours, they said right body mount was bad, ordered part, and will fix under warranty no charge to me. I can report back after repair.

Does anyone have a video of the noise it was making before the bushing replacement? I have a squeak but it sounds like its coming more from the UCA area

I took my 2018 with 2000 miles in to the dealer Friday for a squeaking noise and this turned out to be the culprit. They offered to throw a tech in my car and ride around the parking lot for 5-min. He heard it right away. They didn't put up any fight and ordered the part right away. They said it would take a while to install so I plan on dropping it off this week when the part comes in.

    2000 miles, pretty disappointing.

I could only tell that mine from coming from the front-passenger side. Took it in to the dealer and they diagnosed it fairly quickly.

There's actually a TSB out now on that body mount noise, just no repair as of yet.

It appears this will happen on brand new trucks as well. Heard a noise on the drive home from the dealer, got on here and found this very helpful thread. Thankfully I caught mine in time before the bushing wore through from being installed at an odd angle. Truck had 40miles on it when I took the body mount apart.

Mine is on the third set of OEM Toyota mounts seem to get about 20k out of them on my truck. 2 sets installed under warranty. These I am doing just to not have to deal with it again.

So out of curiosity can these be visually inspected with out removing an if so what do we look for to determine their wellness.

My truck is squeaking like a SOB but i've recently switched leaf packs and added about 300 lbs in front and rear bumpers, so perhaps there is some settling to be done

Unfortunately not, I inspected the mount as best as I could looking through the wheel well. There were no signs of it off center or damaged. Not until removing the bolt and mount could I see where the issue was. Being a new truck I didn’t want to get too involved but the squeak was awful. The result was well worth it.

Am I looking at the right thing? What is the diameter of these body mounts? Is it roughly 1.5 to 2". I expected much larger

I just got a call from the Service Department and they said the vehicle is ready to be picked up. He mentioned the term "Warranty Enhancement" and that a redesigned part was put back in the broken parts place. They changed both passenger and driver sides. I am a little confused on the terminology, but I will try and look for any part details, etc., that I can when I go pick it up this afternoon.

Edit: here is the invoice sheet from the work today. Not sure if that sheds any light or not.
