Toyota has a TSB for driveline balance by changing one of the 4 bolts at the carrier bearing. Hmmmm

Clearly. But I guess he ran out of money when it came time to take the license plate frame off the RV trailer, lol

Checked out his IG, too. A lot of bro in there. And damn, that FJ is wider than I first thought. How does it even fit on the trails? But I guess with tires that size you kinda just roll over everything anyway.

Not surprised he rides a quad, though, lol...

Only in Cali - look at that 16 year old TRD pack, 4600 was put in a couple of years ago. Passenger side out, hopefully finish passenger side today and then tomorrow driver side.

Honestly, was nervous as hell but thanks to this forum and a few unnamed youtube vids, hasn't been an issue. :hattip:

I believe when your water pump goes you will have overheating issues, and possibly leaking fluid. I would check your belts. Maybe see if you can go to autozone and see if they have a belt tensioner gauge you can borrow.

If you have the means and ability to do so, I'd do a crawler separate from your DD truck.

90 k is all new belts, pully bearings for timing belts, Cam and crank shaft seals, if they are leaking, spark plugs, water pump, and thermostat. Sounds like it's time man.

Edit you gotta take everything off to get to it, might as well replace all your belts.

Yes and add fan clutch to list as well. Do it all the same time

It's not on any of the periodic maint lists but it's an affordable part and you are there already. I'd change it.

Time to spend my next paycheck on camel back lol

Yeah thats what im thinking. Because i can get the frame and cab so its just a clean slate to build what ever i want on it, preferably keep it street legal lol

Ebay sells a decent timing belt kit for under 300 Will come with a new hydrolic tensioner as well. The kit I got just didn't come with a new crank shaft bolt. They are torque to yeild, so toyota recommends replacing them, others have reused them.
