I guess it is possible but I would not want to put my key there. If someone is interested in breaking into your truck for loose change, a camera, tools, etc, one of the first places they will look for valuables is the center console. Pop that sucker open and What?!?!?!?!? Spare key??!?!?!?:annoyed: A broken window and petty robbery turns into grand theft auto and maybe too much like the video game where the truck does not come home looking like it did when it left.

Makes you wonder why they still give you a dedicated tailgate key with the 2018 fob/push button models when the fob key is unified. I would have much rather had the front bed rail than a mostly useless key :D

My tailgate key won't stay in there and it keeps falling out. Maybe I'll find a use for it when I get my Grid-It installed in there eventually.

Yea. We weren't expecting this terrain and luckily no issues but it was close.

Yea correct. I'm still recovering from that 18 hour 'day trip'. lol

I was more concerned about the bed side than the tip. Oval shape I'm ok with.

It's crazy how much better the drive is.. The stock OR shocks did come off as stiff to me however I didn't realize how much of a difference it would actually make.

    Honestly - go for it.

I don't do any off roading, however I could see myself on some fire roads/trails or on the beach. I can say I'm 100% happy with the investment.

I was going to go with the fourth setting (1.55") but I chose the 1.1" on a whim because I didn't have anything for the rear at the time and didn't want it to look like I was doing a wheelie until I got something for the rear. I think once I order the 265/75/16 I will take a look and see how I like it, if it looks nose high still than I will do a 1" block.. or say fuck it and do it at the same time.

Spend the money and do it.. Do the rear yourself (I could have but for $300 for all four and the alignment it wasn't worth doing myself) and then have someone do the fronts for you if you are uncomfortable doing them yourself.

I second that! I married into 5 kids, we have a 14 and 17 year olds still at home. They are both hooked on the computer. My oldest is autistic and only likes his computer and nothing else. Shoot he doesn't even like his mom, dad or either of us step parents. I just back up his mother and don't talk much with his dad.
Don't really have anything in common with them except their mom.
Being a step dad is hard as shit!

The infamous question. K&N or AFE drop in air filter?

No offense but the days of pac man and pong are long gone and was actually pretty primitive. Much like your thinking. I mean everything in moderation but modern day video games have also shown to improve hand eye coordination, mental focus, and often lead to amazing organization skills. Obviously don't let your child turn into a greasy nerd there needs to be balance.

I have the aFe drop in, as of about 3 months ago.

I used both a K&N and an aFe on my Dodge Cummins for most of the 15 years I owned that truck. I liked the aFe filter in that application sue to the shape of the aFe over the K&N I was using (it was more of a CAI format than drop in). I would think either would be equally sufficient in the drop in format.
