Yeah went with the 5100 on ome 2887. So glad I did. The rear I did the Icon progressive add a leaf with the overload still in.
After I did the front, it road great, but after doing the rear, it didn’t feel as soft. Icon says to take the overload out but most people say they kept it. Not sure if it’ll soften up or not.
Also someone told me about changing over a certain bushing? Not sure if that would solve this

I bought it used because it was in perfect shape. Where I work used to do Poulan service so they have all the parts for it on the shelves and the one shop guy knows them like the back of his hand, he did a full service on it for me for free. I have only used it twice, this was the 2nd time.

It runs like a top, ripped through that oak that was larger in diameter than the 16" bar I have on it with no problems.

Stock it comes with an 18" bar, I bought it with a brand new 16" Oregon bar and chain from cnd tire installed on it. Seems to work great that way, has a ton of torque for a small, low end brand saw.

You should remove overload leaf, the ride will be softer and better. I don't run overload leafs on my truck.

Only thing he'll need to consider is that's height you lose removing that overload and if you load a lot of weight you'll need that overload.

Like your reverse arched leafs when we were moving the rusty red hahaha.

Meh, there was no problem in towing it, truck was doing well on highway and I even overtook you and @Theicemedic in heavy traffic lol
it's just I didn't have bump stops to keep it levelled and any stock leafs with overload in will be reversed with that load too, we were close to the max payload anyways.

    Oh no doubt

Just something for @Canadianguy91 to consider if he does remove the overload.

If he's sitting level now and removes it he would have the front be slightly higher

Maybe, its the 21st century. Every vehicle has issues. Too soon for the zr2 and reliability. Overall the 2nd gen canyon/Colorado have been doing well.

I just like the idea that they say its a better truck. And in Ontario atleast you can grab a zr2 for 45000k and a tacoma pro for 55000+ . Yes you’ll always have that 10k buffer for depreciation etc. But for a better performing truck from factory for less than 10k is crazy

If I remove it all basically be level. I got just a bit of rake now.
I’m thinking to leave it for a bit see after it settles

No doubt bang for buck it's the better vehicle but post 150k I don't think that will be the case.

And I've been hearing a lot of cases of the zr2 just being garbage.

But guess need to take them as a grain of salt. Obviously only hear the bad and rarely the good.

    Won't settle much

Over a year and mine has barely changed .

But when you load up without that overload you'll be looking up lol.
For what it's worth I have a full leaf pack not add a leaf .

With almost 2" of rake loaded with all camping gear etc I'm level. Once I add roughly 150lbs I'm pretty much level, but doesn't change past that from being maybe 400lbs after. Still sat at the same height.

Fire will most likely be still banned, but I've got laser show to lighten up the camp site :bananadance:

he already said he's busy that weekend.

and as of now I'm in for Friday and Saturday only since I need to be back for Sunday morning :(
And Jeep buddy is most likely coming. If you guys still want to go off and do harder stuff all good I know he's new and will want to stick to softer stuff so I'll stay on South trail with him.

    mostly the mud lmao
but also he's pretty green so think black lake might be a bit much for him. And given his tires are pretty old he won't have much tread to deal with mud.

Hoping I can still make it
