Great stuff man, their new stuff is even better though. They also have a salted caramel flavor right now, TO DIE FOR lol. I am a sucker for caramel though.

Also, I tried a new stim free PWO called H-Vol by All Max, loving that stuff!! Great pumps. Get it off Amazon, about a dollar/scoop. I've only used a single scoop though.

Only supps I am using (besides protein powder) are BCAAs and Glycoject. Both intra-workout. For pre-workout I eat an eggo waffle with some honey. Post WO, banana and milk.

Any recommendations on a squat/bench rack for starting an in home gym? I can't afford a Rogue SML1 right now, and it would fit my needs for the big 3 but I don't want to be too cheap either. Academy stuff? Macy? Macy Gray? Macy day parade? Lift with @ThunderCookies

Really nothing around me in the Craigslist and everything that is there is expensive. I just wanna lift heavy yo!

Yea. Im really liking the rogue stuff, especially all the add ons you can get. And a lot more adjustability on the height of the spotter arms. Maybe I can convince my wife.

I am saving up for the SML-1 right now myself. I should have the funds by the middle of August.

I really want those safety spotter arms but I am not sure if they're worth the extra $180 (after shipping)!

Monday I tried a new mild stim pre, Dr. Jekyll, and I'm wondering if it is time released. I workout at night between 8pm-9pm and I normally go to bed around 11pm or midnight. I tried it Monday night and I slept decent, but last night I was awake until 3am and had to get up at 5:30. I've tried ON Amino Energy 4 scoops and C4 original and neither of these affected my sleep. I'm not sure if I'm having a bad couple of nights or if its the Dr. Jekyll. It has less caffeine than the other two products I've used before. If I can pinpoint it to this I may have to take it back for a exchange or refund.

Anything using my arms. Bench, OHP, DB presses, pushups, low bar squat, even pushing myself off my bed. It's golfers elbow. Inside of my elbow. I can't put heavy weight on certain motions. It's getting better, it's more chronic now but before it was painful enough that i couldn't do much. I can feel it when I bench 95lbs like a weakling.

Not sure now, i haven't been to the gym in a week and I've been stretching and working on grip strength, so I could possibly do more now, but i dont want to aggravate it and put myself back. Taking it easy and doing more lower body work. Some triceps work would also hurt it so I was very limited with upper body movements.

Do you squeeze the bar when you press?
Wonder if a false grip would help the stress on the elbow by relaxing the flexors in your forearms.

Glad to see your taking it easy and letting it heal up.

I don’t know if you are seeing a med professional for it but reverse bicep curls with a EZ bar might help you recruit the outer part of your forearm in those large pressing movements. It also helps grip strength to a degree.

I don't think I do or was, but i have notices it helps when I squeeze the bar. For squats i was trying to use the thumb grip but now that hurts so i might have to use the tbumbless grip and see if that helps.

The reverse BB curl was hurting the other elbow (tennis elbow) so I couldn't go more than 40lbs on that. No break man! Although the tennis elbow has gone down and I can deal with it but still taking it easy and just waiting for the day i can lift a little heavier.

I get to do research all this so when i do lift again I wont have issues I hope. I

Ive been battling a hip and neck injury for over 6 months. Its getting better all the time but damn its annoying.
I have to remind myself it took me months to let it get that bad so it won’t help over night.

If it doesn’t improve I’m a big fan of PTs. I skip the doc and go straight to therapy and I can get fixed up quick.

Are you sure its a tendon/ligament issue and not nerve??
The pain with both movements and movements past a 90 degree angle with your arms sound more nerve.

I only say because I get cubital tunnel in my elbows from certain lifts. Took me a while to figure out it wasn’t tendon issue and it was nerve related. I almost dropped 225lbs on my neck benching one day before I figured it out (which at the time was a shit ton of weight lol).

Not sure if its a nerve but I'm almost certain its a tendon. If put weight on it, i can feel it almost right away, but I can stretch it in different positions and not feel anything. Its only when i put weight on it.

I watched a Calgary barbell vid he posted today about shoulder and elbow pain and i think when I do low bar, I was resting a lot of the Weight on my arms (forearms) and my wrists were cranked back so I think that had a lot to do with it. I've been gripping stuff more with my whole hand now trying to stop using my fingers to hold onto weight. We'll see how today goes when I hit the gym. Gotta see where im at. I just wanna lift heavy again. I can Deadlift heavy so thats good. Lol

Hit the gym, did DB presses and bench and biceps. Didn't hurt too much but didn't go heavy. Got up to 55 on incline presses and 145 on barbell flat bench. Elbow hurt a little but not to where I couldn't lift, just sore. We'll see how I feel later. Did a lot a volume. Like 7 sets of 10 on dumbbells and 5 sets of 10-20 on flat bench and hammer curls and bicep curls in between. Working it back in slowly.
