R&D New Tacoma specific front bump stops

Got these installed today. I essentially tried to line up the lines with the same orientation as the old sway bar mounting points. Don't have an accessible ramp so I couldn't test full bump.

Tip for those installing, I needed to get the tires unweighted to get a deep socket in to line the bolt up and get it tight. Might be doable without it but it was much easier to jack the truck up and droop the LCA's out.

Next week actually, going to be mostly slow crawling though, no go fast stuff. I’ll see if I might hit them though, my coils are pretty clapped out so getting into the bumps is pretty easy lol if nothing else I’m sure I’ll get a photo at full bump some place.

Any Change in Ride/ crashing over bumps?

 

Ok excellent looking forward to the bump stops and the diff bushing then

 

Huge change, with these Bump stops installed there is no more of the shell-shock effect when hitting the oem bump stops. The bump stops eliminate that hard bottom out and provide smooth progressive dampening that allows for more stability at higher speeds.
Several guys that installed my bump stops have commented on how they didn't even realize they hit the bumps until they looked under the truck and could see a clean spot on the LCA from the bump stop contacting.

I'm just a few days away from having video of these bad boys in action.
