Yeah, he has been super friendly and helpful throughout my communication with him, and he did a great job on the blackout.

I'll definitely do that. Now I'm just waiting for someone to figure out how to disassemble the '18+ SR5 grill emblem to black it out (since it's got a shield in front of it to protect the TSS sensor).

I've seen them bent up so bad they incapacitate a truck. 4 guys with straps and another vehicle trying to pull it out of the way just enough to get the truck off the trail.

Those handles look awesome! I have a pair, but it looks like he did a different weave on yours than mine. Did you ask for a different weave pattern?

Why not remove the harness plug, from your tss behind the grille, then remove the entire grille and surround. Then it should be easy to see how the emblem is assembled. That will at least allow you to get your headlights installed and just put the stock grille back in.

Yeah I already removed it once to install the black bezel ring, but I didn't see how to disassemble the emblem. I'll look again this time I have the grill off

I would think that the emblem is held in with 4 locking tabs. If you take out the grille, remove the tss assembly, then you should see exactly what holds the emblem. Won't hurt anything to remove the radar and put it back after resolving the emblem issue. No calibration will be required if it is held in position with the screws. That is provided you do not put a lift on it. If you make a height change you may need a new calibration. May also want to search tacomaforum.com or toyotatruckclub.com for more possible answers.

I think the smell I'd leave...people would hate me! lol

I looked at the pipe and I was concerned of the heat coming from the pipe and near the spare tire especially if I put a 33 inch underneath.

I got a saw so I can do it any time. lol

Oh yeah, truck looks good (I think). Dropping it off at the dealership tomorrow. I don’t know if I’m being paranoid but the steering feels off and think there is a vibration at about 70-75.

Well now you have opened the flood gates. Time to get a good cash back rewards credit card. Start small with a $3,000 limit. That should cover the mods for the rest of 2018. Just pay it off every month. You still earn the cash back.
