Really? I wouldn't think it would matter if you weren't at fault. This is my first time dealing with insurance that wasn't my screw up(only one of those)

I would get it checked. He's paying, so better be safe than sorry. I'm not saying try to screw the guy over, just make sure nothing was damaged that you can't see.

I'd be willing to bet that nothing is wrong, but again, I'm no mechanic/body shop

Working OT so I can buy a house in spring. Technically I'm second shift. Got here at 3pm. Leaving at 3:30 AM.

My body shop is owned by a guy that I trust, so I take his word on things. I know a lot of shops "work" for the insurance companies, so they may give bullshit quotes that may not fix the entire problem. Ask around for a trustworthy shop and tell them the situation and that you just want it checked.

 

I work 12hr shifts, so lunch was at 1:30

I rear ended a lady in a 73 Plymouth Volare at 2-1/2 mph one time in an 88 Mustang 5.0 My polyurethane front bumper was barely spiderwebbed. She came back with a quote from "her shop" & they said that tank had a bent frame.
Guess I just paid for her Christmas!!!

 

You would think that "common sense" would tell you.......that's bullshit

me too, they have good sales to go with them too

 

If they say a car is fixed and safe to drive that is not and they get into a accident the repair shop is on the hook.
