What in the world! maybe I’ll sell my truck and get a 1st gen, $18 an ounce is crazy. Just replace the condenser yourself then get it sucked down and recharged somewhere else.

Issue #1 was the trailer shaking between 58-65, and the fact that they hadn't tightened the clamp on the hitch, causing the ball to trailer to come off the ball the first time I loaded a bike on it. Magnum had the trailer for a week, at the request of Kendon, and told them there was nothing wrong with it. When I went back to pick it up, I asked them what size bike they put on when they tested it. They said they hadn't actually had a bike on it, just pulled it empty. Sure, because I bought it to pull empty, you f'ing morons. Kendon eventually replaced it, and could never find the cause of the shake; they cut it up for scrap.

Issue #2 was a crank up jack stand I bought from Kendon, and had to rework the bolt and nut used to attach it to the trailer. Before and after of the bolt is below. Hey, who needs the nut to actually screw onto the bolt, right?

Issue #3 was the crap bias ply spare...

In a funny side note, just this morning the brown truck dropped off a retro kit from Kendon, that will fix the death defying "ride the rail" loading problem of the previous version; the one I own. I ordered the retro kit directly from Kendon, after reminding them of all the nonsense I went through, and they cut me a bit of a deal. We'll see how the quality is when I pop the box.

I've been more concerned that they will start rolling blackouts.

I know some people at ERCOT. We have hit production in the high 90s (percentile) over the last couple of days. They do have the ability to buy power from other grids, but if those are also maxed out then it's going to suck for everyone else.

I think I'm getting solar installed this fall. My last power bill was double what my April bill was.
