I don't agree with what happened or is happening based on what I've seen, but found this interesting from the article posted, and seems to be contradictory from the video footage.

I don't think violently throwing someone on the pavement is trying to diffuse the situation. Obviously, the young guy was not counting on the old guy having a pistol. He probably just thought, "I can handle this old guy." ...Then it got ugly real fast.
Honestly, I don't know how I feel about the whole thing. Any single person involved could have acted differently and prevented it.

 

Not illegally parking in a handicapped spot would have prevented it.

Not feeling like it’s your personal responsibility to harass anyone you feel is a law breaker would have prevented it.

There’s a lot of pride, attitude, and self-righteousness on all sides that escalated a situation that should never have existed in the first place.




Someone illegally parks in handicapped parking? Take a picture of them and post it in the Asshole Parking thread like everyone else.
