    Hi everyone,

Like so many others, I am brand new to the Tacoma world. I bought a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off Road in Quicksand!

I ordered the truck with all the bells and whistles (Premium package, tech package), and one dealership took over 8 weeks before I had to cancel my order because it wasnt being built. They blamed it on a "supply and demand" issue with the premium package in the quicksand color...

I finally was able to get it through another dealer (although still had to wait over a week), but it was definitely worth the wait! See the attached pic.

So far I have done some minor upgrades: Blacked out the lettering, added the TRD Shift Knob (A/T), added black TACOMA insets on bed door, bought an AJT Quicksand key fob. Also customized the start screen to the TRD logo (thanks to this forum!)

A more major upgrade I did on Friday was add a Magnaflow muffler and chrome exhaust tip. It sounds so good! (as good as a throaty V6 can sound at least!!!)

I have the TRD Pro/garnish piece being shipped as we speak (i know, i know...another Taco owner with the TRD Pro grill...I love the look!).

Coming from a 5.0 V8 Ford F150, the only downside I have with the truck is the lack of power. I feel like I really have to step on it to get the thing going. But I guess this is expected in a mid sized truck.

Up next: Bigger TRD tires and a 2-3inch lift!

    Thanks all.
