    Growing up it seemed like my mom had a saying for every scenario.

    -You would lose your underwear if it werent for the elastic band.( I
    proved her wrong one summer)

    -If God had wanted you to have holes in your ears he would have put
    them there! ( Got my ears pierced anyway :D)

    -If it were a snake, it would have bitten you.( Probably but it wasn't so...)

    -If you could stay out last night, you can get up this morning.(She usually did this when she knew I was hungover)


    My personal favorite:
    I hope someday you have children just like you.(Scary thought)

    Just thought I would share some of my mother's wisdom with you.
