A company called "Smith Offroad". It looks like the employee's name is Aaron.

That was the beginning of one video where he goes to the left and i presume drives up the waterfall. I didn't watch it all.

Just had the first rain on our trip of almost a month. Just a little drizzle in rapid falls. The other night we were in Helena,MT and the people's fire next to us came back alive at midnight with ambers flying out of the fire pit. It was super windy and I had to go knock on their door to tell them about it. PUT OUT YOUR FIRES PEOPLE!!!!

It's been raining almost daily here even heavy stuff.. Very strange but we need it!

I glanced south and the hills/mountains by Antero were completely white from hail which was an awesome sight to see.

From what most people are saying.. Yup. On that video he's shortly driving up a waterfall. The videos are all over now.
He responded to one person and said he didn't understand the difference in trail etiquette since i guess in tx, off-roading is quite different.

I think he learned his lesson...and hasn't caught the business end of the authorities yet. Hopefully they can make it a learning experience for others who don't understand that CO isn't a huge playground to drive wherever you please.

In TX its a lot of private land.. they can do what they want with permission. Sad i hope the Sheriff dept. catches up with him. I hear they don't mess around.
Side note.. Does anyone on here Fly Fish? I wanna start doing some more remote trips and trying to get to some secluded rivers and streams.

Good luck, it's pretty much combat fishing for the last 3 years unless you pay for private water. You can hike up to alpine lakes is about only way to get away from the worse of it.

Anymore, about 90% of my fly fishing is on backpacking trips. I used to fish 4-5 days a week.

So the other day, I ask my son to keep an eye out on the road for something he thinks may be cool to get for a project vehicle. We pull up to a red light, and he shouts out "Dad, that truck over there, that's cool!". I look next to us, and think he's joking. "No, I really like that thing on the back of it, too. It was a silver 2nd gen with a cap on the back. Maybe I already have my project. Ha.

The good news is.. People have reached out to him in a less threatening manner to try and talk to him. It looks like he is receptive, willing to cooperate with authorities.

My hope is that he uses his tons of social media following to not only own up to his mistakes, but use it as a great way to get the word out about stay the trail..as an organization and a fundamental of trail etiquette.

Everyone makes mistakes...it's how you handle them that makes the difference.

What do you need out of it?

If just something for pavement pounding, 2000s accord or civic. Snow tires for winter, if that.

just something reliable easy to work on as I plan to do most of the labor myself. something with at least 20 mpg. main thing I realize is if my Tacoma is down or broken or I need to do extensive service its tough not having a second vehicle to go grab a part or drop something off after taking it off unless I call a buddy to come help or drive me.

my budget right now is looking around what I can get for 5k
