I don't think the weight had much to do with as much as my driving habits offroad. The VSC in this thing never stops grinding. It definitely needs 700 pound springs for the extra support though. The 650's with preload aren't enough.

Yea, I rub my CMC on 34" Grabbers and I am looking to get 35s soon... and I was rubbing on everything before I said eff it and removed fender flares and cut rear fenders 1.5" and swapped on some front fenders that were already cut 3"

It is even worse when I actually wheel, I rub on wheel well, CMC, some more prob but at this point, I stopped caring...

35s are not a smart mod for that truck at all... but he is doing it for the gram right?

Yea... that is my exact thoughts man, the amount of stuff on that truck in that picture is insane and I am pretty sure he was just going to the NW Overland Rally or something... like how much shit do you need to bring with you? I can fit everything I need in two maybe 3 Home Depot yellow top boxes, a small front runner box, and like the rest just stuffed different places in the truck for like a good 5 day trip... and that is for myself, woman, and baby.

Become a stepfather to someone that has a kid that is already a teen... cause trying to offroad with a 6 month old... it requires a lot of stuff at times and we decided that is is not worth the hassle so unless we go places we can rent a cabin, then I just go alone.

Yea, I have been able to condense a ton of stuff thankfully and we were able to learn to minimize what we needed to bring for the little one when needed.

But that first time... oh man that was fun trying to fit everything in the truck.

Be the change! Be the cool stepdad with the cool truck that goes offroading!

Yep! Luckily I can bring firewood, so I can just throw firewood on a hitch carrier basket or something.

Just sucks if it rains and chairs and such get wet on the way to camp.

It is pretty fun at times!

I cleared just fine when I had my stock struts on while rebuilding my Icons. Everybody knows a lift doesn't provide tire clearance for complete suspension articulation. (minus your bumper comment at least) :cookiemonster:
