    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

So... what I am gathering is with my current rear shock setup (5125s) the bags would be better than running rock catchers and bump stops and would work well for my needs (with added loads).

If I were trying for more travel, the bags would hinder me.

Well then... add bags to the already long and expensive list of shit I want to do to the truck.

Funny thing... Speaking of that long and expensive list... Jen and I were talking about the truck the other day. She said something to the effect of ~when you're done with the truck~

I just chuckled and said "Babe, there is no "done" with the truck. The only "done" there will ever be, with the truck, is a catastrophic wreck. And at that point... if and when I get out of the hospital, it will only be the beginning of the next truck."

I think we were discussing it and the earliest would be two weekends from now but idk if that's the targeted date or not.

Just let me know... I will make it work for whenever you guys are ready.

Just not the second weekend of September. That is opening day deer/bear season.

Aug 11 and 12 would be tough for me also.

I would have had it on Sunday night but I ended up putting all the footage together and it took forever to save in an iMovie. Now I am just trimming each individual clip instead of making a whole video

Up for sale: Brand new set of Old Man Emu 2881 coils. Never installed, in original packaging, literally just picked them up from the shop 30 minutes ago.

Here's a link for details Thought I wanted these... but after riding around on a set of Bilsteins, borrowed from @FirstTimeFirstGen, with heavier coils, I decided to go with 2883s instead.

I ordered them from the (local) shop where I got my wheels/tires. They don't normally deal with these coils so want a re-stocking fee.

I'd rather give a TacomaWorld friend a good deal than give the shop a fee.

Looking for $150... would rather not ship. Hopefully I can find someone who can use them reasonably local.

Choo choo on the quote train

I already called dibs on these :)
From what I’ve gathered you are correct, and you want to keep the bags set up on independent air. Some guys add a T fitting so they can fill up both bags at the same pressure and time. HOWEVER if you are loaded down and go around a turn then the outside bag pushes air into the inside bag and trouble.

I posted a couple pages back about the daystar cradles. The bags only attach at the top so you can still go full flex on the droop and not limit the travel. From what I understand, see the cradle below32ACB4B8-DDBF-4BB4-A0C3-F79E8B789808.jpg

For stockish suspension it wouldn’t be a problem I’m sure

I’m working towards far from stockish

@LOL ZR2 this group here is probably the closest one to us. We just did a trip out to the relief reservoir. Would be nice to have you come to the next trail run whenever that may be

cons - more body roll on highways

I personally haven't tried it because the rig is my daily driver but from others I have heard that the body roll can be quite bothersome without the sway bar. The articulation it gives while off roading is great but I don't want to sacrifice safety for daily driving for when I offroad
