He is getting roasted on IG. Neanderthal posts incriminating evidence of crime, Neanderthals react with pure internet vitriol. It all smells the same. The idiot posting the crime and the idiots throwing around threats and epithets.

I must admit; I almost succumbed to the mob mentality. I am a fan of the wilderness. I am not a fan of those who abuse it.

I am not claiming to be perfect myself. I have made mistakes in the past, but I’m older now. My foot doesn’t seem to weigh as much.

The problem with social media is that the idiotic mistakes people make are now forever embedded into the fabric of the socia media diaspora. People will use your mistakes against you, forever. Even after you have learned your lesson/s, paid your dues and moved past them.

I can only hope that this Chris Miller fella learns from his mistakes and makes amends to the governing bodies involved as well to the off-roading community at large. I also sincerely hope that those that are roasting him also learn the lessons of forgiveness and acceptance.
Let this be a lesson to all about doing stupid shit and then bragging about it(Subtly hinting at dragging boulders aside at closed trailheads has been posted right here in our local forum. That only encourages this type of idiotic behaviour).

I’ve edited this, like a million times, because it has made me look inward. I hope that this does the same for us all.
