You should ask to set it up and tear it down then at the very least. Here's why I didn't like mine.

    1. Set up and tear down really wasn't as easy as people make it out to be. I spend the same amount of time setting up a ground tent.
    2. Fuck that ladder. I hated having to climb in and out of that thing.
    3. Leveling. Finding level ground with a regular tent is way easier than finding level ground to park an entire truck. Or putting blocks under tires to level the truck out.
    4. It acted like a sail on top of my camper shell. This doesn't apply to everyone obviously.
    5. Being able to set up camp and drive off. There's been a few times now where I've set up camp and wheeled afterwards or ran out to meet up with someone or something.
Now I'm aware that everyone's situations are different, but for me and how I use my truck, it wasn't any good.

Well this is awkward. They're already gone
It was a shark week thing, I swear.
You need a king sized bed :D I'll cuddle with my wife and then banish her to her side of the bed when it's time to actually sleep.

I just like the idea having the extra room for a duffel bag full of burritos instead of a tent bag.

Where ever you'd mount the RTT, construct a similarly sized box instead and put burritos in there. Boom!!

And I'm not trying to talk shit about RTTs, but just wanted to give my unsolicited input on them.

Like most things we buy for the trucks, they are a novelty item. They are, in fact, quite impractical.

Just a really expensive novelty item  I got really lucky with mine. I got it on sale for $1,199 shipped and then turned around and sold it for $1,200 after a couple weeks on craigslist.
