Does anyone know where you can purchase quicksand 4V6 spray paint . I can find touch up pens and the codes for PPG/Ditzler and RM/BASF where I can buy for use in a spray gun but can't find this in a spray can. Odd that this color has been around since, I believe, 2011-2018 on Tacoma, Tundra, and FJCruiser and Duplicolor doesn't seem to have it.

It not perfect but it’s close, depends on base coat and clear coat to get it right.

What's the correct basecoat color? Or is the answer 'more layers'?

My 2017 quicksand Tacoma had the rear right bumper plastic cover damaged. The repair shop said that even knowing the paint code off the door that there were 5 slightly different shades of the 4V6. I assume he ordered small samples of each and then after testing them ordered some of the correct shade. So I would think that with a spray can like this you get what you get. There used to be places in Chattanooga that would mix what the book said was correct and fill a spray can with it. My wife saw a episode of Shorty's Dream Shop on TV where they were trying to get the correct color for a 50's Desoto that was pink. They had a guy come out from Sherwin Williams and image the paint that was left with some kind of electronic box and it then spit out the mix to match that color. I didn't see that episode but if they really have something like that then that would be where you would want to go to get the paint. I know that several years ago when I was trying to find the right paint for a 69 Charger that nobody had such a device. Must be something new.

My bumper cap got hit by someone and I removed it, sanded down the damage and resprayed it with this:
