Tapps area would be a great place to live. Its really not that bad, especially with the good to go lane. The part that sucks are the days I have to drop Cooper off in Federal Way at daycare, but its free daycare, so I shouldnt complain. More $ for hobbies.

 

Damn dude thats killer. I dont even have kids but the thought of how much daycare costs is frightening.

 

This is why my wife doesn't work. Daycare is crazy expensive and nobody will take care of your kids as good as you.

 

We found a lady in the neighborhood that works from home every day and will watch kids for crazy low fee. I mean, I guess she's making money while working from home already. Just put some Disney movies on and make sure they don't set anything on fire. LOL

 

Parenting 101?

 

This is what happens when you entrust your kids to other people. Mostly kidding he totally could have done it at home as well.

 

Shauna makes more money than I do so thats kind of off the table.

I would be a kickass stay at home parent.

No, because they would learn self reliance at an early age. "Stop your crying son, you've only had 6 hours of tummy time today".

 

I'm really afraid to ask what "tummy time" is.

 

It's when you put the newborn down on the ground on their stomach. Makes them strengthen their core and neck when they try to look up. You're supposed to do it for something like a half hour a day at first.

 

Right! We would be on food stamps without free daycare lol. That's exhibit A if your wife is pressuring you for kids.

 

How come you know this and I don't?

 

Jims about to open a daycare/fab shop. Put those kids to work after tummy time!

 

Your wife just hasn't told you yet.

 

My wife took almost a 40% pay cut to work from home but in the end it was much better financially than sending the kiddos both to day care.
