    NOOB!

    Lol, JK.

The engineer who signed off on the reverse gear ratio in the M/T was off his meds. It's a higher ratio than 1st FFS!

M/T tacos are badass. Where else can you get a fully loaded double cab with a stick here in the US?

Ram 2500 diesel, I checked. About 25k more than my OR for similar trim (i.e. sunroof). Nissan, not even. Those engineers still haven't figured out how to get the whole second row window to roll down.

Not exactly the same thing haha. I actually almost went with a new 2500; had a reality check and stayed with the Tacoma. I’d love to buy one of the last full size manual trucks. We will just have to wait and see how long Dodge offers it.

    Dissenting opinion:

The Pro shifter feels like a fist full of legos, and could only be loved by people who shoot Glocks.

(I’m on the hunt for a grip I like better, that matches the truck)

    With that in mind:

The shifting action of the truck is great. Rowing your own gears in a 4x4 is a unique, enjoyable driving experience.

Had a 16 SR Tacoma double cab, now have an 18 Sport double cab MT. Amazing difference. Hated the way the automatic shifted...

92CAE973-9208-42BF-A181-2B7C7DB1E987.jpg I thought about a MT when I bought my 17 OR. I got the auto, but, I do have this sweet ride, which I bought new in ‘93. Most fun shifting car I’ve ever driven. Maybe it’s the cable clutch.

Best part is, if your in good with the MT crew, don't have to worry about some one driving off with it.

    Had my truck a week......
Wish there was a manual DCSB OR in the area I could've driven, and probably taken home.....
But, then again. No matter what slush box I end up with, I long for a 3rd pedal....
