I'm from Atlanta. Apparently a lot of stations in the South are running out of fuel, I'm certainly glad I filled up this morning.

I live in atlanta and on my way home from school today, every gas station was having lines going into the streets full of cars waiting to get gas

    Still $3.74 here.

Glad you're saving money on gas in NJ. Now you can use that savings towards your property taxes that are 10 times higher than here.

I'm in East Cobb which is north of Atlanta and there is no gas up here right now. Amazing how fragile one of our most important resources can be.

Yeah, a temporary rise because the federal government is getting involved in private business, i.e. the financial sector bailout that we are all paying for. When stocks take a dive, investors put their money in commodities.

Expect this trend to continue: http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=a.6Ppw5EmCl0&refer=home

Ya, it is all full service too. They don't allow self serve gas. Found that interesting on a few trips up there in '05.

the down side of the full service sometimes u have to wait for the attend to walk over, but other than that... full-service RULZ!!!!

When the weather is like 20 degrees outside, i'll be nice and toasty in my truck!!

Only NJ and OR is full service, and its the LAW!

we had a panic in savannah a couple weeks ago.
turns out just ONE station was low on gas- out of regular. the truck was running behind.

well, one person saw the yellow bags over the pumps, called their friends, etc etc, next thing you know the news is involved and boom, we were back up over 4 dollars. for no reason other than localized panic. it was after the hurricanes passed and those hadn't effected price.
