    I think the stud is ok... if you have to push the blade all the way open... but... if you can partially open it and then flick it with your wrist it doesnt fly. At least that is what I gather from their new restrictions.

    Crossing at Calais ME in about 3 weeks I think.

    I dont think I would have given it a second thought, but we started planning our food for the trip and I figured I would check and see what we can actually bring across the border... and happened to stumble on the new rules.

    Basically just gonna do all our food and booze shopping there to make things easier and not have to declare anything...

    Of course I'll say no weapons since I am not bringing any weapons. To me a pocket knife is a tool as well... but according to their new rules....

    Anyway Im just gonna get one up there. We are going to bring a small kitchen knife in out mess kit as well, so we will have something, just a folding pocket knife is so usefull for sooo many situations.

    I had to have my AC recharged. Lines were empty so the compressor never kicked in, but the light gave no indication anything was wrong.

    Usually that won’t give you a flashing a/c light though. Low pressure won’t cycle the clutch at all. The a/c light flashes when the slip sensor sees a major difference in engine rpm vs ac compressor rpm after clutch activation. Tacoma compressors are notorious for going bad too.
