What pulley / controller / fuel system are you going to run with it?

i read through speedy's build before starting this project. the stock pulley did just fine for the few days/weeks it was installed.
the boost seems to come on a few hundred rpm lower with the new pulley, about 2100 now where as the stock pulley didnt seem to get going till about 2300/2400. this is just feel could be dead wrong on a dyno.
i dont think ill need to tune it at all. no pinging problems even without the 7th injector.

Well there’s been a whole lot of nothing on the progress front, but the girl has some new shoes, so I guess that’s something...

Fenders clearances for tires. More will come off once I have time to confirm clearance at bump

    Kick ass! 4x4 right!?

This is a pretty good walk through and works for 2x4 or 4x4 - just make sure they machined the hubs down to fit in the rotors first!

I just installed mine last week. There's a bolt that's hard to get to with a regular wrench in the spindle to the LCA, but I just ground down a wrench to fit. I'm thinking of modifying a socket to work so I have more control.

Are you building shock hoops for 10" coilovers and (maybe) bypasses?

nope, 4x2. the cost of a built differential, transfer case, transmission, etc is approx $8k.

Gotchya. Right on. I've got 10's, but put 8's for now too until I decide what to do for hoops and how much I would save doing all the fab stuff vs. having solo do the cam lockouts, double shears, hoops, limit straps, and bumps stop mounts. I just started welding for the first time since learning how back in high school and it might take me awhile to get to where I feel comfortable working on all that stuff. Congrats man. Your truck is awesome!

from talking to them, the 8s bump the same but lose a few inches of droop. since i dont want to cut the inner fenders at the moment, ill see what is does droop to inner fender and make some decisions from there.
whats nice is that the centerline of the hub is above the centerline of the uniball so the wheel moves back slightly at droop and doesnt make the truck ride like crap. in retrospect i couldve got the 4x4 kit just in case, but im not that interested in crawling so i think this was the better way to go for what i want when im all finished

i sure hope it works as good as i think it will. if all goes to plan, it should be dirt ready before the new year, not finished but wont disintegrate itself either.
my buddy wants to do barstow as a shakedown if others are down, once the weather cools off

Yeah it's all about what you want. If I tried to make my truck what everyone else wanted I'd never actually enjoy it. Still interested to see what you come up with fab - wise - I'll be planning it out for my truck based on what I see you and a couple other people have done! What uniball were you referring to in egard to the hub?
