Even so. I wouldn’t want to insure a car every month that would be sitting most of the time. That’s a waste of money. A lot of my income already goes towards insuring my PreRunner.

Oh yea, I remember those days. Been a while. I'm over 50 with a very clean driving record, I pay $220 for liability on my Tacoma for a whole year.

Amazing. In California, I don’t recall the exact number, but I think it’s almost $1,000 every six months. I think that includes the Merc E320 too. Liability only.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Have you considered using that VT registration to your advantage?

I was told it’s a disadvantage to drive with a foreign plate in your home state. I’d be a target for the CHP to issue a “fix it” ticket, apparently.

Hot on the heels of the WABDR trip, we re-provisioned and headed out again just 17 hours later - this time to Idaho to meet up with a couple fellow TWers. Our ultimate destination being California, it was a bit out of our way - but in the end, so worth it. If you've never been, the Sawtooth's are amazing.

Read the story and peep the pics: Two-and-a-Half Days in Idaho

:anonymous: I haven't driven my Cobra in 6 months and it still has full coverage, granted its worth a lot more than the 500k 5 lug. My Tacoma only has liability though, not worth paying full coverage. My parents technically own my vehicles right now since insurance would rape me if they were under my name. I pay $80 a month for full on the Cobra and liability on the Tacoma.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
You can overheat the fluid in the tranny.
(At least that’s what our Toyota rep said when I asked about it.

It’s the NW innovations. Initial thoughts are their tolerances are a bit loose and for the price I paid, I would have liked some better instructions. I do like the design a lot thought.
