I always wanted to get roll cage in but i have no need for a exo cage and i dont like how they take up space inside.
Want to go full custom and hid it under the interior trim

That sounds like money, that's the main reason I wouldn't want one in a daily, take up space and gotta cut up more shit then I'd want to.
And honestly I've been in a few rollovers (one in a Toyota) and they've held up good enough for me to not worry about it unless I was doing something crazy

Here’s the thicc frame crossmembers leftover from the fifth wheel hitch on the 5-lug. What’s the best way to remove it, just angle grinder with a grinding disk on the welds?

I was about to buy an Oxy-Acetelyne torch when my friend was scrapping his Ford Ranger cab and frame. Just never ended up buying one.

All I have is an angle grinder.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
just angle grinder. then paint over exposed metal... if theres no weld across the tops of the plates, throw a bead to keep water from getting between those plates and the frame.

Oh I wanted to just remove them completely. I’ll try grinding the welds off and painting over it with some POR15 I have leftover.

oh to remove them completely just cut away at the welds and the plate should be able to be chiseled off. then grind the surface flat and hit er with paint
