Is the Confederate flag a symbol of racism?

IMO, EVERYONE KNOWS that the common person views it as... "if the flag is being waved around. If its on a truck or in someones hands, they are using it to make a statement"

So chances are...... they are proud to be narrow minded. I mean who else would do that? It would be THE SAME THING as to have your state flag on your truck. Who does that? KNOW ONE! Why? Because know one whould know wtf you are waving that flag for. They prolly wouldnt even know it was a state flag.

So bottom line, if its a nazi sign or the confederite flag, YOU KNOW HOW MOST VEIW IT, so your drawling attention to your self for the negitive part of the reason.

And thats just how it is. You knew that already, and yet you still fly it....I bet.

 

the flag is not racist. some people say it is, but its just representing southern heritage IMO

I don't know that i really have an opinion one way or the other, other than I think it's stupid when I see people flying a huge flag on the back of their beat ass mid 80's pickups lol. A couple years ago a bunch of kids were doing that at the one HS there and it nearly started a big racial thing between them and the black kids, it got pretty tense for a couple weeks. People are stupid.

 

Well said.... anytime I have heard someone defend the confederate flag it usually ends up with them saying F*ck You I can do whatever I want, which leads me to believe they know exactly how it makes others feel & just dont give a damn.

See, this is a prime example of someone (no offense) who doesn't know the real meaning and takes it for something that it isn't. I know that if most people would read up on it that it isn't what they make it out to be.
