The steel pins on our lot are easy to find, during the winter the frost pushes them up, in the spring I have to push them back down so the mower blade won’t wack em.

Good morning all. I interview this morning for an in house position with a new set of buildings here on campus. One of the buildings is Old Main, where University President and many administrators offices are located. Not more money but new supervisor (better) and will get me out of these dorms and all of their problems. Up against three other guys, pretty sure I have two of them beat. Wish me luck!

    Good Morning All
Went to work early yesterday. 1st shift operator needed boring bar adjusted .0005 of inch, no big deal. He starts to yell at me with his foreman standing right there. So I walk away. Then I think f this, I went right back. I got him to admit that he beats on this boring bar with a hammer, even after I told him not to. Also got him to admit that he runs parts oversize. All of this with his foreman standing there. He didn't relize what I did until it was too late. Then he says, his foreman is on his ass to get more parts out. I said, well if you would put your cell phone down, get off your ass and do your job your foreman would leave you alone.
I hope I don't have to visit HR.

    Good morning everyone!
You know reading through the posts it makes me wonder why people have to be such :censored: in the workplace and what has happened to common courtesy and respect? I mean it’s not all that bad that people have to be so miserable. That’s why I appreciate this group, everyone seems to be just doing their thing and has a good time with a good sense of humor. It’s what is needed. Rant over.
Hope everyone has a good day.
