I've crossed probably 3 or 4 dozen times in my life and only once had an issue with Canadian Customs. But I've had at least 5 or 6 times coming back to the States where they went through everything.

Enjoy, it's on my list to visit. I was in Charleton last month for a tough mudder on a Saturday and the group of us were planning on going there after we finished. Well we were in the beer tent after the race having a beer and I looked up directions to the brewery only to find out they were closed on a freaking Saturday for whatever reason. So I still need to get back there to try it.

 

I'm hoping they have Julius cans for sale... that stuff is amazing! Going to try and stock up a bit, so I can possibly trade with the CA guys in the beer thread, for some of their really good stuff out there.

And likely going to be wearing my NE TW t-shirt, to represent!

 

I hear they are open strange hours. Is it still a deal like you arrive there an hour or 2 before they open then hope you get a chance to drink their beer? And sometimes you get turned away? Or was that just when they first opened? Probably not going to be on my list, I'll go next door to my house to the Henniker Brewery.

 

From what my neighbor said, since he used to live close by and would go once in a while, it's not like that anymore. At least not during a weekday.

It opens at noon and that's when they start selling, but apparently if the parking lot is full by 11 then they start selling then.

They just received approval for a 16,000 sq ft expansion that will also add like 150 parking spots

 

Tree House has good beer, but not waiting in lines for hours good. Girl i know literally lives down the street so she can go over whenever

Not sure if any beer is waiting in line worth to be honest and I really like some but hate lines more

 

I'm bidding on a building in Marlborough called "Lost Shoe" that the same Architect apparently did the Tree House and Alchemist breweries. Supposedly a coffee roaster and brewery/taproom. It's in the old Speakers night club if that means anything to anyone down there.

I helped work on the design side of the expansion - insane how quickly they were able to adjust to the new building after they moved from Monson and how quickly they needed to expand to meet demands. If anyone does visit, do not be dissuaded by the length of the line. It is a turn and burn inside and you will not be waiting for more than 20 minutes.

 

Realized I added an extra 0 in the sq ft. 160 would be huge haha.
One of these weekends I'll make a trip over there to stock up and try a few different types.

Spent a sweaty-ass day in Dennis yesterday getting the Landy pulled out to the road and ready for towing...tires held air which was remarkable. Waiting on my AAA card to arrive this Friday, then the tow company will schedule me in. A metric shit-ton of work to bring this thing back, but I love restoration work

Thank you. The family and I are totally fine and plenty safe this is just stressful. We are just hanging around in Hershey waiting for the water to go down so we can get our camper. We are moving out of the Hershey Lodge now and going back to stay at a cabin at the campground. This is better for us anyways because we budgeted for camping not for staying in a hotel and having to go out to eat for every meal. The cabin we can cook and have camp fires etc.
