Me too. I watched half of season one and didn't touch it again for years. Then my friend got me back into it and I haven't looked back.

It's always the first season that gets ya.

I love The Office. Definitely in my Top 3 favorite TV series. The first season is almost an exact rip off of the British series. I didn't get hooked until the 2nd season.

Dexter went to absolute shit after a couple seasons, no idea what they were thinking of in the end. The Walking Dead is absolutely horrendous - I saw the death of a certain character recently and I just never watched it again out of disgust for the terrible writing. That was the final straw. I used to look forward to that show every Sunday, I'd have the Reddit live thread and the AMC watch-along website open while I watched the show.

Breaking Bad is an absolute marvel of modern television. That's how you make a goddamn show, AMC. Better Call Saul is the only reason I still watch AMC. It's slowly becoming even better than Breaking Bad was at its peak.

King of the Hill I would watch everyday at 7:30 PM every single day when it ran on Adult Swim. I have seen that show countless times, it deserves my #1 spot.

    Honorable Mention: Archer and Futurama

There's plenty of places in California that's rural. Once you leave the Bay Area or most of Southern California, it's all boonies.

Stay away from Berkeley. That's where all the California-DudeBro stereotypes come from.

I've probably met one person in my life who fulfilled the 'surfer bro' stereotype. He looked like Johnny Depp. He bought my old bedliner, when asked why he needed it for his truck he said all proudly "OH I OWN A POT FARM!"

Quite the opposite, actually. He's making absolute bank. The recreational Marijuana industry in California is starting to become like Oregon's multi-million dollar growing industry, both lowering crime and bringing millions of dollars of tax dollars and sales benefitting the state.

The tech industry, and the Marijuana industry is how you make it big in California.

I used to work part time as a high-end corporate caterer in San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose.

And then I started selling car horns and Tacoma parts.
