    I dont know the trails and will reserve judgement until more facts come out rather than the back and forth of what people on the internet think. Just because someone claims he was in the wrong doesnt mean they actually know what they are talking about.
    I will try and remember the bottle opener next time I see you. I'm hoping with the TTR event this weekend that Tandem will be squeezing us in for alignments sooner than later. My alignments good enough to not destroy or wear my tires unevenly so if it takes a while its ok.
    I'll need to go after my pinch welds before saturday. I expect it to be busy with everything going on there this weekend. I just want to get some wheeling in and test the new tires out to see if I've cleared the tires.
    Some people can fit them without rubbing while others cant. I had some rubbing with my 265/70 17's that everyone said would fit with no lift and my wheels since it was only 1" bigger than stock.
    Everything about wheel specs and alignment is foreign to me. I've been trying to learn more about it but damn it gets confusing. I've read the same comments about the trail and if it wasnt a trail i'm sure the video's are enough that the cops will be getting in touch with him and taking care of it.

    Thats my plan. Since I'm hitting the cab mount I dont see how I wont rub on the pinch weld when stuffed on a trail.

    I have the cmc. I've trimmed near everything I can think of. Just concerned if I stuff the wheel in turn, I'll rub the pinch weld

    I ended up flattening the entire pinch weld on both sides. When I had the CMC done, they did a cut in the pinch weld and bent it over and then after I swapped over the front fenders and didn't have fender liners I bent over the rest of the pinch weld. I need to take off the front tires and such and put on some sort of coating on the wheel wells though since there is some surface rust on it from the sledge hammer...

    I'm guessing I need to cut the weld sp it can flatten smoothly to the fender? I plan hitting it with some spray on rubberized bed liner.

    I hammered mine down with a 3lb sledge. It was probably about the bottom 6-8 inches of it. I had to do a little trimming of the plastic liner, as well. Running 285/75/16

    Yea, for people with fender liners, it is just the bottom 6-8 inches is all that needs to be done and you just need to do one cut. And we just did the cut right below the tab for the fender liner if I recall and then took a sledge and bent it over. I also went back and took some silicon and put some silicon in that to help prevent water and mud and such from getting trapped in that and causing rust and stuff.

    But yea, I need to remove the tires and then remove most of the factory rubberized liner stuff and then spray new stuff on there.

    If you plan on doing that, then I would do like two cuts on it.

    I'll post a picture of how mine looks. Just another thing to add to the list of stuff I need to get around to doing is the rubberized fender liner stuff.

    i just hit mine with a mini sledge and folded it over, im running 255/85/r16 aka 33x10 but at the time i did the CMC and Pinch weld i had 33x13.5's on

    does anyone have any experience with service dept of a Ford dealer in Dallas/Plano area? Daughter went to work this morning and repair transmission immediately error popped up on dash and now engine light is on. Engine light may be due to needing oil change which i planned to do this weekend.

    Check engine lights don’t come on for oil changes on fords, for sure. I know someone around here works at 5 star ford in Lewisville
