    Shocks don’t dictate ride height.... so you can take a shock completely out and the truck will still be “drivable” and not completely bottomed out. So even if the shock was completely blown it doesn’t change ride height... just dampening and “ride quality”

    Probably the leaf pack is a little worn but nothing I would really worry about at all. The drivers side is heavier and is known as the “taco lean”... it has the driver on that side majority of the time, has the battery, and gas tank also

    Shocks don't effect ride height, springs do. To "test" for blown shocks just bounce the rear or front by jumping on the bumper once or twice. When you jump off it should only bounce once or twice max. If it keeps bouncing then your shocks are worn out. You would be able to tell when you go over speed bumps etc.
