It's bedlinered. The pinch weld is sealed with it.

Did you do it yourself or have it done? Sanding and priming involved?

 

The shop that does my work for me did it. I also had my bumpers/skids done with it. I can ask them about prep -- I assume they sanded, not sure about what sort of priming was involved. I've had it about a year now, no issues. Wisconsin is excellent at rusting out cars so I'm trying to be proactive.

 

Gotcha. I just got a quote from line x to do my rocker panels, fender flares and a couple smaller areas. Close to $1000 so I'm looking at doing the work myself. Thanks for the info!

 

No worries! I am satisfied with it. I can't imagine it would be that much to do yourself, as long as you have the tools for it.

 

Killed the first bit of Chrome! Got rid of the chrome grill surround. Left the emblem for now since I want to make that Inferno.

A little bit of a proof of concept with some RAM mount ball studs on top of the radio surround piece. Seems pretty good so I think I'm going to look into fabbing up a couple support plates so I can sandwich the plastic... It's plenty strong right now but I don't know how well it will age or how well it will hold up off-road without cracking

 

Had my 5k service done today. Tires rotated, fluids checked, auto blinker thingy set to 5 blinks and seat belt chime shut off no questions asked. Out in 30 minutes. I was kind of impressed.

 

I velcroed the sunglasses door so I have a place to put my patch...
