We most likely wont do them. We dont like to "copycat" like some other brands do. And in our experience they havent provided anything but weight. I have personally seen 2 trucks with those guards and broken tail lights.

 

It's been about a month since the original post. Any new photos, lead time updates, etc? Thanks in advance, can't wait to get it installed.

 

Will you guys make a swing out version for 2nd gen tacomas? I love my bumper and the swing out but a dual swing out would be even better!

Honestly probably not, There is so little interest in the single swing out. Half of our pre orders are guys who have singe swing outs and want double and that goes for multiple generations. You are actually the first person to ask that.

 

Love all the Pelfreybilt stuff, just had a few more questions. The single style NATO Jerry Can holders, what makes these superior to other comparable products on the market? Why was the decision made to go front loading instead of top loading? I like the originality, but just want to know the benefits of your products that you've improved upon. Thanks.

 

Mush easier to hoist into the containers is just slides and and doesn't go up and over anything, so ease of access was a big factor. It also allows the use of a better latching system and is more universal for different cans as they are not universal in really any way even if website dimensions are the same.

 

Could you include interior and outer dimensions on the product specifications website? This could be helpful for people to determine fitment for their existing cans. Thanks for the quick reply.

 

Ext dimensions H:19 1/2", L:14 7/8", W:7 1/8" interior dimensions 1/8" less

 

I have been searching for a rear bumper and I think I have found it. Dual swing out just makes sense and your quality of product is great. Definitely will be looking into getting one of these.

I use my truck to haul things with the tailgate down everyone in a while. are the gates removable for circumstances like this? or would I be better off getting a non gated bumper? or a trailer?

 

Made the jump and just sent in the request for both this and a front bumper.. now the wait begins!!
