    Hello all,

I am looking into converting my 2017 grille to the 2018 grille for aesthetic purposes. I have been assuming that the grille connections (tabs and screws) are the same due to the fact that aftermarket grilles do not make you specify the difference between 2016/17 and 2018.

Ideally I would like to buy a brand new one, however I am not opposed to a very lightly use one either. I was hoping you all could help with part numbers if I chose to buy straight from the dealer. Or are ebay and forums a better option?Capture1.jpg

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The 2018 Grill ecomes with the TSS, which may or may not affect your 2017? Or vice versa. Unsure, but something to look into.

It will mount right up to your truck. You can ignore the TSS mount behind the emblem, and otherwise the grill should work just fine. I see them on sale in the marketplace here all the time

So, you want to take out the 18 grill and put the 17 in, right? Sounds like you just want to pop out those logos, swap, and mount the TSS behind. Most likely going to need some trimming and adhesive.

No, his post says he wants to put the '18 grill in his '17. Therefore he has no TSS

That'll be a super easy swap. While you're at it, pop a Sr bezel in there and you won't have any chrome. I bet there are tons of used as many swap for a pro grille. Here's mine without the chrome Bezel.

Get a used one off TacoWorld. Cheap like $60-100 for most. I recently swapped my chrome grille for the 18. The tabs and screw positions are exactly the same for both grilles.

I tried to sell my grille for about 3 months now. Nobody has bought it.

I was going to toss it out. If you are willing to pay for shipping, I can send it out to you.

He wants an 18 grille. Your info says your truck is 17.

Any idea how much is shipping?

I hate my ugly 18 grille and prefer the 17 grille

TSS would be a huge challenge going from 18 to 17 I'm guessing.
